He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ed and Emma Philpot Gill; his daughter Reba Lynn Gill; and his siblings, Edward Gill, Jack Gill, Charles Gill, Raymond Gill (Mary), Edna Bowling (Robert), Katie Johnson, Geraldine Adkins (Dave), Loreine Gill and Ruby Gill.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Proffitt Gill; his daughters, April Renea Gill and Julie Kay Grubb (Jamie); his grandchildren, Samuel Grubb and Isabella Grubb; his siblings-in-law, Flo Gill, Hazel Gill and John Johnson; his pastor Wayne House; and his close friend Frankie Ward.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the House-Rawlings Funeral Home (510 E 4th St, London, KY 40741). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Emmett's Funeral Service (510 E 4th St, London, KY 40741).
