He is survived by: his wife Joyce Larkey Barboa Broughton; his children, Gary Wayne Broughton (Alejandra) of Ohio, Janet Lynn Fox of South Carolina and James Broughton Jr. of Georgia; his stepchildren, Cindy Ann Thomas (Dallas) of Louisville, KY and Joseph Dean Barboa (Janet) of New Mexico; and his siblings, William Truman Broughton (Eleanor) of London, KY, Bruce Broughton (Dianne) of London, KY, Virginia Broughton Parker (Wade) of Richmond, KY, Ina Mae Broughton Holt (Onas) of London, KY and Gayle Broughton Leist of Ohio. He is also survived by three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
