He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Boggs and Mary Jane Larkey Boggs; and his sister Violet Sue Ward. He is survived by: his wife Betty Black Boggs; his children, Mary Jane Phillips (James) of London, Jeremy James Boggs (Emmalee) of Lexington and Nola Serber (Jeff) of Versailles, Kentucky; his siblings, David Boggs of Frankfort and Rosemary Boggs of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Corinne Madison Phillips, Aiden Troy Phillips, Addison Jane Phillips, Hannah Grace Phillips, Shelby Rosalee Phillips, Riley Allen Phillips, Mary Jane Boggs, Troy Issac Boggs, David Walker, Eliza Woods, Preston Woods, Daniel Calia and Jackson Calia.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Trinity Chapel Assembly of God (242 Levi Jackson Mill Rd, London, KY 40744).
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations to be made to Chad's Hope Adult Challenge of Kentucky.
