He was predeceased by: his spouse Rose Marie Straub Gumm; and his siblings, Gene Gumm, Clifton Gumm, Ollie Pearl Watkins and Joann House.
He is survived by: his children, Helen Rose Gumm Bruner (Bill) of London and Robert Jack Gumm, Jr. (Patsie) of London; and his brother Kenneth Gumm (Orvylene) of Somerset.
