He was predeceased by: his wife Susie Powell Evans; his parents, Clarence Evans and Virgil Mary Allen Evans; his son Gary Evans; and his brothers, Murrell Evans and Dennis Evans.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Rose Patterson of London, KY and Larry Edward Evans (Judy) of Lexington, KY; his siblings, Wilmer Evans (Mayrean) of London, KY, Charlotte Wyatt (Eldon) of London, KY and Jerri Durham (Terrill) of London, KY; his grandchildren, Josh Gaylor (Michelle), Bryan Evans, Jonathan Evans (Kimmerlee), Kari Hampton (Deven), Brandon Foley, Heather Spencer and Samantha Newman; and his great grandchildren, Bryston Gaylor (Alyssa), Austin Weaver, Evy Johnson, Carmen Harris, Tucker Harris, Gavin McManus, Trinity Newman, Jaxson Wilson and Peanut.
Funeral services and Visitation are all deemed as private to abide by the governor's COVID 19 mandate.
