He was predeceased by: his parents, James Looney and Linnie Kidd Looney of Bastian Bland, VA.. He is survived by: his wife Wacuba A. Britten Looney; and his children, Irvin W. Looney Jr. (Pamela) of Sun City, FL, Donald Looney (Anne) of Richmond, VA, David A. Looney (Carolyn) of Trussville, AL, T. Dean Looney (Jennifer) of Corbin, KY and Dawn E. Looney of London, KY. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
