With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Homer Murral Hampton of London, Kentucky, who passed away on January 19, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jarvis Hampton and Julia Hampton (Minton); his brothers, Jarvis Lymon, Gary and Mark Hampton; his parents-in-law, Leonard and Mildred Hoskins (Bishop); his brother-in-law Davis Coomer; his niece Debbie Clark; and his nephew Jason Hampton.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ann Hampton (Hoskins); his children, Michelle Wagers (Russell) of Manchester and Stephen Hampton (Kristy) of London, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Justin, Abigail and Isla; his siblings, Brenda Burchette (Bob) of Manchester, Linda Wagers (Mike) of Manchester and David Hampton (Dianna) of London, Kentucky.; his sisters-in-law, Janice Coomer of Huntingburg, Yvonne Hampton of London and Shirley Fields of London; and his nieces and nephews, Rhonda Goforth (Reuben), Jeff Hampton (Frankie), Tammy Null (Stephen), Amy Reynolds (David), Brandy Jackson, Don, Ashley Coleman (Ron), Keisha Wagers, Mandy Allen (Bryan), Brad Coomer (Maggie), Faith Smith (Chris) and Kyle Lemond (Jennifer). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the London Funeral Home (879 S Main St, London, KY 40741). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
