He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Jones (Draper); his daughters, Denise Jones and Angela Jones; his parents, John Burton Jones and Martha Ann Jones; and his siblings, Loretta Keller, Edith Weakley and Odus Jones.

He is survived by: his children, Brooks Jones (Vicki) of London, Kentucky. and Brad Jones (Robin) of London, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Keegan Jones of Austin, Logan Jones (Brittany) of London, Lynsi Kilburn (Darawn) of East Bernstadt and Landon Jones (Lindsay) of Fort Sill, Oklahoma; and his great grandchildren, Konnor Kilburn, Khloe Kilburn, Jack-Brooks Jones and Willow Grace Jones. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
