He was predeceased by: his parents, Bart Woodyard, Sr. and Dallie Riddle Woodyard; his wife Bertha Ellen Johnson; his children, William Reynolds and Debra Ann Woodyard; and his siblings, Bart Woodyard, Jr., Delford, Steve Woodyard, Thelma Johnson and Gladys Shelton.

He is survived by: his son Henry Wayne Woodyard (Tammy) of London; his siblings, Medius of London, Johnny Woodyard of London, Harold Woodyard of Ft. Wayne, Wilma Jean Lockaby of Brownsburg and Wanda Elaine Shreiner of Frankfort; his grandchildren, Chris, Kevin, Lee, Tyler Reynolds, Charity McQueen (Josh) and Cameron Woodyard; and his close friend Martha Johnson. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
