He was predeceased by: his parent Felix Day; his wife Edith Lewis Day; his siblings, Laura, Rebecca, Troy, Rollie, Ada, Ona, Dillard, Mary and Clarence; his son-in-law Harold Engle; and his great grandchildren, Dustin Harold Anderson and Jamariah Wells.
He is survived by: his parent Martha Kilburn Day; his children, Lena Day Engle of London, KY, Roger Wells (Carolyn), Sherry Engle Anderson (Robert), Joan Wendover, Day Delahousay (Kevin), Roderick Elmer Day (Daphne), Nancy Susan Yvette Day and Kelly Wells; and his brothers, Donnie Oliver, Harold Turner and Danny Day.
