He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Carpenter and Mable Eversole Carpenter; and his siblings, Leonard Carpenter Jr., Kenneth Carpenter, Gloria Chadwell and Teddy Osborne.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Williams Carpenter; his children, Terrelle Likins (Ken) of London, Kentucky, Amanda Marcum (Kevin) of London, Kentucky, Kacy Collins of London, Kentucky, Joshua Carpenter (Amber) of Harrison, Tennessee, Seth Carpenter of Aztec, Steven Bledsoe (Melissa) of Corbin, Kentucky and Jenifer Born (Michael) of Knoxville, Tennessee.; and his siblings, Merrill Carpenter of Carlisle and Sandy Woody of Ashland. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bowling Funeral Home (1704 N Main St, London, KY 40741). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
