He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Bowling and Rosa Proffitt Bowling; his wife Laura Rudder Bowling; his children, Sammy Bowling and Glenda Owens; his granddaughter Carmen; and his siblings, Earl, Ted, Clayton, Kittie, Ray, Mildred, Leroy, Martha, Mary, Donald, Robert and Troy.
He is survived by: his daughter Shirley Howell (Daniel) of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Grace of London, Roxanna of London, Gilford of London, Chasity of South Dakota and Stacy of South Dakota.
