With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilbert E. Hood of London, Kentucky, who passed away on January 15, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Rose Hood; his son Gilbert Hood Jr.; his daughter-in-law Alice Hood; and his granddaughter Tammy Wright Hudson. He is survived by: his children, Linda Wright (Bud) of London, Robin Smith (Alan) of London, Steve Hood (Joan) of Middletown and Brenda Hundley (Terry) of Georgetown. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and five great, great grandchildren.
