He is survived by: his wife Tressie Louise Smith Root; his daughters, Tammy Sizemore (Darrell) of London, Charlene Fox (Randall) of London and Debra Hamons of Ohio; his siblings, Edna Grace Hayre of London, Juanita Lawson of London, Laura Jean Davis of Gates, TN and Hester Gregory of Sparks, GA; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Sizemore, Ashley Sizemore, Natalie Hamons and Nicole Scott.
