He was predeceased by: his daughter Amanda Nicole Whittymore; his parents, Ezra Whittymore and Gracie Whittymore (Gumm); his parents-in-law, Charles "Babe" and Fannie Dezarn (Hyde); and his brothers-in-law, Don Dison and Archie Napier.

He is survived by: his wife Susan Whittymore (Dezarn) of London; his children, Donna Frazier (John) of Manchester, Tracie Whittymore of London, Kentucky, Tim of London, Kentucky, Austin Whittymore of London, Kentucky and Katelyn of London, Kentucky; his sister Peggy Woods of Manchester, Kentucky.; and his grandchildren, Chester Holt, Easton Whittymore and Kirsten Frazier.
