She was predeceased by: her children, Nina G. James and Ernie Lee James; her parents, Jefferson Thomas McQueen and Eliza F. McQueen (Shelton); and her siblings, Harrison McQueen, William McQueen, Walter McQueen, Earl Lee McQueen, Albert McQueen, Carl McQueen, Willie Lee McQueen, Little Baby McQueen, Elbert McQueen, Ruby Prow and Katherine Harden.

She is survived by: her children, Charlotte James Trebolo of London, Ronnie James (Sherre) of London and Vicki James Robinson of Richmond, Kentucky; her brother Jefferson McQueen, Jr. of Bloomington, Indiana; her grandchildren, Christina Smith of Walter Trebolo, III, Shaina James Brandenburg, Melissa Tackett, Jerry Rookard and Robert Rookard; her great grandchildren, Jeremy Evans, Dalton Gilbert, Christis Brandenburg, Bryson Tackett, Braden Tackett, Taylor Smith, Abigail Brandenburg, Makayla Trebolo, Gabriella Trebolo and Dylan Trebolo; and her great great grandchild Dawson Evans.
