She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Bales and Hilda Cox; and her siblings, Judy Bales, Phyllis Alley, Jimmy Bales and Geneiva Ritchie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Ferguson of London and Lisa Gilbert of Germantown; and her siblings, Martin Bales of Martinsville, Artie Bales of Middletown and Gary Bales of Indianapolis. She is also survived by nine grandchildren plus a host of relatives and friends.
