He was predeceased by: his brother Don Spivey. He is survived by: his children, Karen Frances Spivey (Karen Brach) of Chicago, Geryl Lynn Richardson (Tommy Dailey) of Georgetown, Beth Spivey Minch (Norm) of Stamping Ground and Stephanie Hoskins (Jamie) of Wake Forest; his siblings, David Spivey (Tillie) of Virginia Beach and Janice Blair of London; and his grandchildren, Katharine Richardson, Hannah Richardson, Trent Minch, Tanner Douglas, Emmaline Hoskins, Lucy Brach-Spivey and Stephen Brach-Spivey.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to The Gideons International.
