It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Rush Reams of London, Kentucky, who passed away on March 7, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Mackie Reams; her parents, Elmer Rush and Hazel Cobb Rush; her siblings, Elvis Rush, Kenneth Rush, Kelly Rush, Lois Rush Floyd and Roy Dean Rush; and her son-in-law Johnny Purvis.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Purvis of Berea, KY and Eddie Reams (Nancy) of London, KY; her brother Elmer Rush Jr. (Edna) of London, KY; her grandchildren, Richard Hibbitts of Carey, NC, Heather Ellis of Richmond, KY, Ashley Jones of London, KY and Edward Blake Reams of London, KY; her great grandchildren, Richard Caleb Hibbitts, Reagan Hibbitts, Justin Hibbitts, Blaklee Ray Jones and Jaxton Hayes Jones; and her caregivers, Debra Steelman, Joan Hallberg and Bertha Hayre.
