With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Faye York of London, Kentucky, who passed away on July 1, 2022 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Blankenship and Willie Blankenship; her husband James Rondal York; her daughter Leeann Nicole York; and her siblings, Beatrice Blankenship, Ellen Mills, Opal Cavanaugh, Rose Thomas, Virgel Warren, Jeff Warren, Jim Tom Blankenship and McArthur Blankenship.
She is survived by: her former husband Ronnie Messer, Sr.; her sons, Ronnie Messer, Jr. (Samantha) of Barbourville and Logan Locke Martin of London; her grandchildren, Chloe Marie Messer, Ronnie Jace Messer and Benjamin Weiss; her children, Cassandra Faye Weiss of Versailles, Amanda Renea York of Nashville and James Leonard York of Lexington, Kentucky.; her siblings, Fleda Berard of Evansvile, Jeanetta Mills (General) of Donniesville, Barbara Hammerstein (Mike) of Evansville, Wilma Broughton (Henry) of Corbin and James Elbert Blankenship (JE); and her caregivers, Leslie Holland, Chanda Willoughby, Emily Catron, Linda Fothergill and Sheila Barnett.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Donna York to the American Cancer Society or the Knox-Whitley Animal Shelter.
