He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Hurley and Edna Hurley (Phelps); and his siblings, Barbara Howard, Eugene Hurley, Paul Hurley and Ralph Hurley.

He is survived by: his wife Darlene Hurley (Hampton) of London; his children, Brandon Hurley (Raye) of Frankfort and Deana Hurley Burns of Louisville, Kentucky; his sisters, Gladys Oakley of London, Wanda Cloud of London, Yvonne Tuttle of London and Gertrude Schafer of DeWitt, Iowa.; and his grandchildren, Bentley Dean Hurley, Jace Hurley, Ella Hurley, Logan Hurley and Jack Burns.
