He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Hampton and Lois "Birdie" Bothe Hampton. He is survived by: his wife Patty Taylor Hampton; his sons, Casey Hampton (Kaci) and Jake Hampton (Savannah); his grandchildren, Elijah, Camilla Belle, Joshua, Daniel and Jess; and his brothers, Joey Hampton of Indiana, Jimmy Hampton of Kentucky and Kenny Hampton of Texas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
