We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2021, at the age of 98, Daisy Brock Durham of London, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Brock Sr. and Mary Chadwell Brock; her husband Lonnie Durham; her son David Durham; her stepson Tony Durham; and her siblings, Evelyn Wilson, Edna Pearl Nicholson, Oscar Brock, Clyde Brock, Johnnie Brock Jr. and Donald Brock.

She is survived by: her son Jim Durham (Cathy) of Corbin, KY; her stepson Mike Durham (Sue) of Newark, CA; and her siblings, Nellie Bledsoe of Prineville, OR, Clifford Brock of Hamilton, OH and Delmas Brock (Joyce) of London, KY. She is also survived by three grandsons, two step grandsons, four great grandsons, one great granddaughter, and one step great granddaughter.

“My mother her whole life talked about Daisy Durham as being her best teacher (8th grade) ever. That was back in 1955. My mother Ruth Hinkle Garland is now 80 years old and will be at the funeral saying her last goodbyes. This iconic teacher's incalculable contribution on students' lives cannot be measured in human terms. But it's being fully comprehended right now in the presence of the Lord. We all will sorely miss her. She lived out her life's destiny and purpose. God bless her soul.”
