He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Lipps and Viola Gray Lipps; and his sibling Merle Lipps. He is survived by: his children, Curtis Dwayne Lipps (Laura) of Lexington, Trifona Lynn Morgan (Charles) of Covington, Katrina Lavon Sakho (Sidy) of Cincinnati, Shane Lipps of London and Lloyd Kevin Lipps of Manchester, Kentucky; his siblings, Delbert Woods of Okeechobee, Faye Smith of Danville, Ann Napier of Cloverdale and Audrey Swafford of Manchester, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Jessica Hibbard, Shelley Owsley, Jaret Lipps, Kenny Morgan, Baylee Sakho and John Russell Lipps; and his great grandchildren, Mia, Maddox, Marcie and Ivy.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Volunteer Services at V.A., 1101 Veterans Drive, Lexington, KY 40502.
