She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Higgins and Minnie Bell Hart; her spouse Freelan "Warpy" Hughes; her siblings, Thomas Higgins, Jack Higgins and Alice Higgins Brown; and her granddaughter Erika Todd.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Hughes of Guthrie, Kathy Withrow of Guthrie, Janie Lauber (David) of London, Lou Dyche (Tim) of London, Nancy Workman (Tony) of London and Carla Hanayik (Ron) of Columbus, Ohio. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
