He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Tankersley and Juanita Vernice Bowling Tankersley; his spouse Vickie Moore Tankersley; his daughter Nova Tankersley Bolgar of East Bernstadt; his siblings, James Tankersley of Barbourville, Vicky Taylor of Corbin, Kenny Hicks of Corbin, Bill Tankersley of Corbin, Peggy Cornett of Corbin and Sherry Branstetter of London; his half-sisters, Nadine of Indiana, Judy of Indiana and Sandy Tankersley of Indiana; his grandchildren, Vincent, Devon and Braxton Bolgar; and his siblings, Janet Sue Terry, David Hicks and Bobby Tankersley.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Bowling Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
