He is survived by: his parents, Clyde Proffitt and Deborah Gaines; his children, Julia Proffitt, Amy Proffitt, Christian Proffitt and Stephanie Proffitt; his brother Ben Proffitt (Sonya); and his niece Madysen Proffitt.
