He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Sweeney of Sandy Hook, KY; his brothers, J. D. Sweeney of Venus, TX and Paul Sweeney of Dayton, OH; and his grandchildren, Kacie Wadley Davis and Kayla Sweeney.
