He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta Nicholson Straub; his parents, Charles William and Helen Abbuhl Straub; and his sisters, Marie Gumm, Emily Marlor and Louise Suddreth.
He is survived by: his children, David Straub (Constance) of Arlington, VA and Kathy Gay (Randy) of London, KY; his grandchildren, Paul Stewart (Pat), Chad Stewart (Renee), Wes Straub, Elise Roberta Straub (David Keirle) and Chuck Straub; his great grandchildren, Peyton Stewart (Keely), Paizley Stewart (Trevor Gilbert), Austin Hampton (Kayla Smith), Avery Stewart and Aiden Stewart; and his siblings-in-law, Estill Nicholson, Brenda Nicholson and Ruth Nicholson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home (510 E 4th St, London, KY 40741). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
