He was predeceased by: his wife June Hensley Hyatt; his parents, John Hyatt and Mary Bishop Hyatt; and his siblings, Edward Hyatt, Lester Hyatt, Tollie Hyatt, Howard Hyatt, Edna Rice and Bertha Adams.
He is survived by: his sons, Ron Hyatt (Conney) of Frankfort, KY and Lonnie Hyatt (Shelly) of Johnson City, TN; his grandchildren, Kimberly Hyatt Farmer (Tim) of Ludowici, GA, Jason Hyatt (Tate) of Frankfort, KY, Brittany Yancey (Jim) of Bristol, TN and Cassidy Hyatt of Johnson City, TN; his great grandchildren, Ava, Landon Farmer, Levi Yancey, Sawyer and Clark Hyatt; and his sister-in-law Louise Hyatt. He is also survived by other relatives, friends.
