He was predeceased by: his father Shelby F. Brooks; and his siblings, Bonnie Eva Watkins, Alvy, Bill, Shelby, Jr. and Charles Ray Brooks.
He is survived by: his children, Carole Michael (Jim) of London and Tim Brooks (Joe Dietz) of Lexington, Kentucky.; his granddaughter Jaime Walker; his great grandchild Jimmy Walker; and his siblings, Robert Brooks (Betty) of London and Alberta Richmond of Kokomo, Indiana.. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
