He is survived by: his wife Janet Higgins Smith; his children, Timothy Smith (Cathy) of London, KY, Susan Carpenter (Mark) of London, KY and Shannon Knight (Travis) of London, KY; his sister Virginia "Jenny" Jones (Monroe); his grandchildren, Amanda Mason (Phillip), Lauren Baker (Ricky), Karen Jones (John), Tate Knight (Morgan), Gage Knight, Laura Beth Knight and Ashley Sizemore (Travis); and his great grandchildren, Luca, Liam, Remi, Emma, Zophie, Simi, Kyler, Lilah, Blaine, Gunner, Brooklyn, Leila and Elise.
