He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Lewis and Ollie Mae Lewis (Johnson); and his siblings, Claude Lewis, Carl Lewis, Ovie Combs, Noely Brock, Flo Akers and Rose Akers.
He is survived by: his wife Opal Lewis (Thompson) of London; his children, Wanda Mullins of Scottsburg, Debora Lewis of Florida and Douglas Lewis of Florida; and his sister Bessie Shepherd of Happy, Kentucky.. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Potters Children Home; 2350 Nashville Road Bowling Green, Kentucky 42101.
