He is survived by: his wife Hettie Johnson (Proffitt); his children, Vernon Johnson of Mt. Washington, Kathy Johnson Lyle (David) of Georgetown, Louise Osborne (Larry) and Sam Johnson of London; his siblings, Nell Halcomb of Finnville and Luster Johnson of London; and his great grandchildren, James Johnson (Hannah), Jasmine Callahan and Samantha Johnson.
