He was predeceased by: his parents, Burchell Smith and Doscia White; his spouse Ethelena Wagers Smith; and his daughter Debra Smith. He is survived by: his children, Alan Smith of Arizona and Sandra Lee Harris of West Chester, Ohio; his stepchildren, Rhonda McKnight (Richard) of London and Paul Wagers (Tina) of London; and his siblings, Florence Smith of Somerset and Ruby Reid of Manchester, Kentucky.
