It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Dale (Jones) Snider (Lockport, Kentucky), who passed away on April 18, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Joan Dale farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joan Dale is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Jones and Laura Leslie Jones (Mahoney); her husband James Edward Snider; and her sister Pat Smith. She is survived by: her sons, James Anthony Snider of Waddy, KY, Timothy Scott Snider (Melissa) of Lockport, KY and Stewart Wade Snider (Cathy) of Lockport, KY; and her siblings, Pam Hopewell of Lawrenceburg, KY and Bobby Jones of Campbellsburg, KY. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
