He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Ferguson and Mary Daphne McAlister Fisher; and his siblings, Delbert F. Fisher, James H. Fisher, Nancy D. Booth and Patsy Boling.

He is survived by: his sister Barbara J. Chadwell of Eminence. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
