It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Powell of Lloyd, Kentucky, born in Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on April 21, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Edward and Mary Katherine Pruitt Powell. He is survived by : his wife Mary Jane Merritt Powell; his children, William Thomas Powell (Jessica Waggoner) of Flatwoods, Kentucky and Toma Dawn Powell Smith (Carl) of LaGrange, Kentucky; his siblings, David Kevin Powell (Tammie) of South Shore, William Earl Powell of Lloyd, Kentucky and Donna Lynn Black (Steve) of South Shore, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Kayla Smith, Natalie Smith, Zach Smith, Elyse Smith, Trenton Powell and Taigan Powell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
