It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Sonner of Livermore, Kentucky, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on February 4, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rigdon Haynes and Irene Hopkins Stringer; her son Henry Sonner; and her siblings, George Stringer and Genevie Stringer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Fairy Venea Hounton (Les) of Island, Sabrina Ann Sonner (Karl Davis) of Island and Karen Irene Whitaker (Dennie) of Island; her grandchildren, Cristen Kemper (Shawn), Rachel Lamb, Whitney Parker (Anthony), Katlyn Edwards (Hank) and Henry Lee Bidwell; her great grandchildren, Kaiden Kemper, Karlie Kemper, Landon Parker and Liam Parker; and her close friend David Everly of Island.
