He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Burden and Fannie "Dolly" Adkisson Burden; his daughter Angela Burden; and his siblings, Leonard "Donnie" Burden, Mary Bell "Sissy" Kossen, Joan Latham, Kathleen "Kitty" Coffman, Judy McDaniel, Nancy Logsdon, Patty Frizzell and Janice Kay Willis.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Burden; his children, Tina Nantz (Scott) of Utica, Jennifer Kaelin (Greg) of Utica, Julie Burden of Owensboro and David Burden; and his siblings, Becky Bishop of Hartford, Cherry Kuegel of Owensboro, Lynn McCann of Russellville, Donna Joy Fielden of Livermore and Roger Gary Burden of Utica. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; a great great grandson.
