He was predeceased by: his father Jewel Woodson; his siblings, Woodson Carlton (Bonnie), Durwood Carlton (June), Carolyn Stanley (Tub) and Shirley Crick (Russell); and his sister-in-law Sharon Carlton.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Wilson Carlton; his children, Jayne Leath (Danny) of Madisonville and Jeremy Carlton (Nikki) of Madisonville; his stepchildren, Keith Howard (Kim) of White Plains and Shanon Farris (Jeff) of Island; and his brother Henry Carlton of White Plains. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
