She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Riggs and Mae Taylor Riggs; her husband Donald Penrod; her daughters, Donna Dever Elder and Neda Penrod; and her granddaughter Krista Delane Dever.
She is survived by: her son Hugh Penrod (Janet) of Calhoun; and her grandchildren, Brian Dever, Lori Baxley (Brian) and Nathan Penrod (Amanda). She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
