He was predeceased by: his mother Edith Priar Smith; and his brothers, Owen Albert Smith and Johnny Lee Smith. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Smith; his father Albert Owen Smith of Owensboro; his children, Corey Hayes of Owensboro and Kaitlyn Powers (Brandon) of Livermore; his stepchildren, Lucas Murray of Livermore, Jordan Murray of Livermore and Jacob Murray (Lucy) of Louisville; and his stepgranddaughter Emelia Murray.
