John Henry Whanger Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Henry Whanger of Livermore, Kentucky, born in Central City, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 5, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Janice Whanger; his parents, Harry Whanger and Katie Whanger; and his siblings, Christine Dennison, Nola Pierce, Thomas Whanger and James "Douglas" Whanger.
He is survived by: his daughter Anessa Whanger Smith; and his sisters, Wyona Hines, Jane Campfield, Rose Quisenberry and Barbara Stewart. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tucker Funeral Home (113 N 3rd St, Central City, KY 42330). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at the Jagoe Cemetery.
