He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl King and Louise Burden King; his former wife Delora Sue King; his son-in-law Chris Murphy; his stepchildren, Doug Waldorf, Butch Waldorf and Vicki Waldorf; and his siblings, Welborn King and Nancy Casey Scalf.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou King; his children, J. T. King (Ronda) of Livermore, LaVonna King of Livermore and Loretta Murphy of Rumsey; the mother of his children Jeanette King of Owensboro; and his siblings, Johnny Case of Calhoun, David King of Owensboro, Ted King of Owensboro, Bruce King of Owensboro, Barbara Collignon of Owensboro and Bonnie Towery of Owensboro. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; several great and great-great-grandchildren.
