It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James L. Goforth (Livermore, Kentucky), born in New Haven, Illinois, who passed away on January 2, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lew Van and Flora Louise Bean Goforth; his grandson Everett Lew Van Lindsey; his brothers, Lawrence Wayne Goforth and Alfred "Leroy" Goforth; and his close friends, Lawrence Stewart and Billy Goff.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Goforth; his daughters, Sherry Lindsey (Chalmer) and Ava Heath (Mark); his granddaughters, Tifany Hagedorn (Jared) and Tara Hatfield (David); his stepchildren, Sandy Roach (Jeff) and Donnie Tucker (Deb); and his close friend Dallas Miller. He is also survived by 7 step grandchildren; and 15 step great grandchildren.
