As Donald departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Donald leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Heifner and Veola Crowe Heifner; and his siblings, George E. Heifner and Glenda Rudd. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Heifner (Malisa), Bryan Heifner (Shawn Heifner) and Jennifer Heifner Cain (James); his grandchildren, Preston Heifner, Austin Moore and Ashley Payne (Jason); and his brother Larry Joe Heifner (Marlene). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hartford Funeral Home (114 Walnut St, Hartford, KY 42347). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
