He was predeceased by: his son Dale Reed; his mother Bessie Rowan; and his siblings, Bill Atherton and Ora Lee Smith. He is survived by: his former wife Eunice Joyce Chambers; his wife Joyce Reed; his children, Steven Reed of Livermore, Sheila Duncan (Ernie) of Evansville and Renetta Smith (Steve) of Chandler, Indiana; his daughter-in-law Karen Reed of Owensboro; and his sisters, Mary Smith of Livermore and Sue Strong of Livermore. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
