He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Imogene Denton; his parents, William Denton, Sr. and Pauline Denton; and his sister Edith Gibson. He is survived by: his children, William G. Denton, Bruce Denton, Dawn Eversole, Jeff Denton (Carolene) and Eric Denton (Sylena); his brother Albert Denton; and his grandchildren, Katie Allinder (Jake), Jason Hancock (Emily), Scott Denton (Tandy), Vickie Clements (Eric), Eric Denton, Jr. (Candice Rich), Toby Denton and Brittney Denton (Ryan Coker). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
