With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thursa McCown of Little, Kentucky, who passed away on November 12, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Feddie Hall and Ida Newsome Hall; her husband Verlin McCown; her brothers, Henry Hall and Teddy Hall; and her son-in-law Thomas Hampton.
She is survived by: her children, Garris McCown of Indian Creek, Carlos McCown (Sandy) of Howard, OH, Sharon Adams of Mt. Vernon, OH, Sondra Hamilton (Brad) of Teaberry, KY and Ida Newsome (Jackie) of Virgie, KY; and her sister Thelma Casebolt of Newark, OH. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
